MY STORY

Growing up, I was always able to express myself most through my writing. But, it wasn’t until 2011 that I finally listened to my inner voice and challenged myself to create a career in education and writing. These days, I’m fortunate to have translated this ability into a successful life mission. I have taught in the K-12 system in both the private and public sectors, and I currently work at a private school in San Francisco as well as a GSI (graduate student instructor) at UC Berkeley.  I did my undergrad at UC Berkeley and a study abroad fellowship at Oxford University. I have pivoted this knowledge into a flourishing network for tutoring worldwide.

I am currently a PhD student at the University of California, Berkeley in the Learning Sciences and Human Development cohort focusing on embodied learning and communication.

I am first a teacher and second a researcher.
